We are very pleased to extend our service offerings with the addition of our cloud service in the Netherlands which enables our clients to meet tight service level agreements with users in Europe.

The new cloud location is inside the Serverius SDC2 datacenter in Meppal which is on the outskirts of Amsterdam and is the first IO Zoom location within the European Union.

The location is able to provide access to multiple, redundant “dark fiber” paths, with IP transit of 100 Gbps or larger. Connections to large markets such as Germany and France are route-optimized on a short-path basis.

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new cloud location in Dallas. The Dallas datacenter location joins our Los Angeles datacenter in providing HA failover cloud hosting. This move gives IO Zoom customers greater flexibility for their cloud VPS instances. Now, you can be more resilient in the face of inevitable issues that arise.

If you’re hosting a business-critical system on a cloud VPS, resiliency is an essential feature. Systems invariably fail for a variety of reasons so the challenge is to be prepared. To this end, the company has replaced Apache with the LiteSpeed web server and its server-side caching, LiteSpeed cache. This innovation greatly reduces overhead and allows caching to be done more quickly and more e?ciently than is possible with any other solution.

Security features include a free SSL certi;cate for every domain by Let’s Encrypt, support for HTTP/2, PHP 7, Memcached, and OPcache with 256 MB memory allocation to boost web page load speed. Private Networking for Cloud Servers

We’re happy to announce private networking is now available for our cloud servers. Private networking will allow you to communicate between multiple cloud servers in the same datacenter. Traffic that is sent through the backend private network will not incur any public bandwidth usage between them. When enabled, a second network interface will be added to your cloud server and will be accessible from other cloud servers with private networking enabled.

Please contact us to enable private networking for your servers. We will require that you have multiple cloud servers active to enable this feature.
