Microsoft Windows Server 2019

IO Zoom now supports Microsoft Windows Server 2019 in all of our Windows VPS datacenter locations. Windows 2019 provides strong improvements on security and will be the long term servicing channel (LTSC) version of Windows Server releases.

Microsoft has greatly improved the security of Windows Server and now includes Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection as standard much like the Windows 10 operating system. This offers basic level protection for all users and helps to protect against common exploits and vulnerabilities.

There are many other smaller improvements that come with Windows Server 2019 but this change provides the most impact to users. We recommend Windows Server 2019 in place of all previous Windows Server versions.
